Experiencing...
Yiwu is one of the 古六大茶山 Gu Liu Da Cha Shan - The Ancient Six Tea Mountains, located in the north of Mengla county where is close to the border between China and Laos.
There is a saying in Pu'er tea world, “班章为王,易武为后”, a metaphor referring to the terrior characteristics of Puer - if Banzhang is like the king, then Yiwu is the queen.
Chinese people often describe teas with Yin and Yang philosophy, and Yiwu is often seen as more Yin, feminine tones. Queen is queen, surely powerful in her way, the character is gentle with strength, sweet with depth... Especially, when the Pu'er has been aging, the aromas became more complex, this Yiwu will be unfolding floral, sweetness, energy in a beautiful way.
