Characters
东方红 "Dong Fang Hong" is a rare ancient tree species Dancong from one of the Songzhong bushes dating back to the Song Dynasty and named by Chairman Mao after the title of a famous Mao era revolutionary song - "East is Red".
The dry leaves shine brightly with fruity aromas and get more intense once warmed in the vessel, litchi, honey melon, mango... a little tropical paradise! The tea soup tastes nectar and refreshing, with a long and complex sweet aftertaste.
Again, we recommend enjoying the nice aroma on the different parts of the vessels and through different temperatures, this tea gives very fine and rich aromas on the lid, vanilla, orange cookie, and herbal undertones. The wet leaves have more herbal, woody and fir rhyme.
