Ya'an Zangcha, aka Tibetan tea is a type of dark tea (heicha) that is made of fermented tea leaves and twigs compressed into bricks and enclosed in bamboo. This ancient form of tea is an essential drink for Tibetans since it provides energy, vitamins that are missing in their diets.
With glutinous rice, jujube, and camphor flavor, it brings you soothing and warm body sensation, it usually helps digestions after heavy food.
This Tibetan Tea Zangcha that produced by Yazhou Hengtai Tea Company in Ya'an. Jinhua was made when purposely aged in humid environments to promote the growth of certain fungi, often called "golden flowers" or "jin hua" (金花) because of the bright yellow color.
