Characters
Located in the southeast of Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, close to the Sino-Myanmar border, Guangbie Laozhai is a superior area where ancient tea gardens are reserved for more than 90%. The average altitude is about 1500 meters where the mountains and rivers surround forming a dynamic climate for Pu'er tree growing.
In China, it is also called 妖茶 Yāo Chá - bewitching tea, as Guangbie Laozhai belongs to Bulang mountain and Hekai mountain, so it shares some common properties of both. It has a sharp contrast texture in the mouth, and the bittersweet carries out a long-lasting aftertaste, with camphor, and eucalyptus aromas. It generates a relaxing and calming body sensation and coats the throat with a pleasant smoothness.
